The PIIPC Project

PIIPC Logo FINALPIIPC stands for Partners in Inner-City Integrated Prenatal Care. The PIIPC project is made up of three different initiatives that all aim to reduce inequities in prenatal care in the Winnipeg Health Region. This campaign is one of these three initiatives. The project began in the fall of 2012 and is expected to run until March 2015.

The PIIPC project was developed by Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) decision-makers working in the areas of population and public health, primary care, and women’s health, as well as representatives from Healthy Child Manitoba, Manitoba Health, and the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs, in collaboration with researchers from the University of Manitoba.

For more information on the project visit the WRHA’s PIIPC website.
